The beach of Balatonberény is one of the most beautiful and clean beaches around the lake Balaton. This is proven by the fact that in 2006, the beach has won the award of the “Bluewave Flag” dedicated to the beaches with excellent water quality and perfectly clean environment. The beach is quite popular among the families with small children and also for those who are not quite familiar with swimming because of its shallow water deepening gradually.

In spite of the above, parents, who are not comfortable with letting their children into the lake, can choose the swimming pool for their children. The swimming pool is located at the eastern part of the beach where the kids can swim and play under the surveillance of a lifeguard.

Numerous fascinating shops and restaurants offer their services to satisfy the needs of the guests.

The visitors preferring an active holiday will also find something to do, there are possibilities, for example, for: beach football on sand, basketball, chess, and of course the usual watersport equipment rental may not be absent either where paddle boat or kayak is available.  The security of the guests swimming in the water is surveyed all day by lifeguards of the beach.
